3rd shift Production Supervisor – Direct Hire 
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Hours: 7pm to 7:30am on a 2/2/3 schedule 
Pay: $80,000 to $89,000 PLUS 5% bonus!

Position Overview

Kelly is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team on 3rd shift (7PM–7AM) following a 2/2/3 rotating schedule. This role is responsible for leading a production team to meet daily operational goals while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production staff to meet daily objectives and ensure smooth shift operations.

  • Maintain strong communication across departments to meet manufacturing goals.

  • Train, coach, and mentor employees to maintain peak shift performance.

  • Promote and participate in Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives.

  • Uphold all EHS&S, GMP, and food safety standards.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of time, attendance, and production data.

  • Support problem-solving and corrective action tracking.

  • Manage workforce planning and headcount to optimize production.

  • Analyze downtime and implement process improvements.

  • Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support career development.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical education preferred.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role (Food, Pharma, or other regulated industries preferred).

  • Experience with LEAN / Continuous Improvement principles.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead teams through change and improvement initiatives.
