Manufacturing Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician with 3 to 5 years of experience in medical device or biopharma manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to run equipment, follow GMP processes, and support daily production, but who also wants to take on more responsibility and wear multiple hats in a start-up environment.
You will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to build, test, inspect, and improve medical products used in real-world healthcare settings.
We need someone who is hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

What You Will Do
• Build, assemble, and test medical device components according to SOPs and work instructions
• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, microscopes, gauges, or other tools
• Support root-cause investigations and help resolve production or quality issues
• Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and documentation required in a regulated environment
• Assist with equipment calibration, cleaning, and validation tasks
• Keep production areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and GMP standards
• Work closely with Engineering and Quality on process updates or new builds
• Support continuous improvement, workflow improvements, and new product workflows
• Bring a start-up mindset: flexible, able to switch tasks quickly, and comfortable working independently without strict structure

What You Need
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on manufacturing, production, assembly, or technician experience in medical devices or biopharma
• Solid understanding of GMP, cleanroom practices, and documentation requirements
• Experience operating and maintaining production equipment
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and read basic technical documents
• Strong communication in English and ability to work cross-functionally
• Good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed

Why This Role Is a Good Fit for You
This is a growing start-up environment where you can:
• Take on more responsibility and learn new skills
• Be part of building new processes and products
• Have a direct impact on production and quality
• Work in a fast-paced environment where your ideas matter
