Reach/Forklift Operator – Warehouse, Logistics, Material Handling
Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
Seeking skilled Reach/Forklift Operators for a busy warehouse and logistics team. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating both standard forklifts and reach trucks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to safety, efficiency, and accuracy while managing and moving goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach trucks and forklifts to load and unload goods from containers, trailers, and delivery vehicles

  • Safely move palletized and crated products throughout warehouse or storage facilities

  • Stack goods in proper storage locations following inventory control guidelines

  • Ensure all loads are secure and safely arranged

  • Manage empty pallets and maintain orderly storage areas

  • Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging batteries or changing propane tanks

  • Remove attachments and waste materials from equipment as necessary

  • Inspect products to verify they meet quality standards

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow operating procedures for equipment use

  • Support general warehouse and housekeeping activities

Qualifications:

  • Must have reach truck and standard forklift operation experience

  • OSHA-compliant forklift certification required

  • One or more years of relevant warehouse experience preferred

  • Good math, reading, and language skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and safety practices to prevent injury and promote a safe work environment

  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain good records

  • Reliable, timely, and safe work performance

  • Commitment to keeping workspaces clean and organized
