What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Mechanic? You’ll be:

• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment

  
  

• Troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing industrial equipment to support uninterrupted production

  
  

• Rebuilding motors, pumps, conveyors, and various mechanical components

  
  

• Completing changeovers, welding, fabrication, rigging, and lifting tasks as needed

  
  

• Entering and maintaining accurate maintenance records and notifications in SAP

  
  

• Dismantling and rebuilding equipment with a focus on quality workmanship

  
  

• Supporting the Conagra Performance System (CPS) and contributing to the PM Pillar

  
  

• Prioritizing work based on business needs and responding urgently to maintenance issues

  
  

• Participating in the Breakdown Elimination process to reduce downtime

  
  

• Following SQF, HACCP, GMP standards and maintaining clean, safe work areas

  
  

• Supporting and improving 5S workplace organization standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic

  
  

• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills

  
  

• Experience with fabrication and welding (TIG, MIG, SMAW)

  
  

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, diagrams, and OEM manuals

  
  

• Experience with rigging and lifting using cranes and hoists

  
  

• Working knowledge of SAP for maintenance tasks

  
  

• Good communication skills (oral and written English)

  
  

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
