Tester-Solder Assembler
Details:
- Mansfield, OH
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (M–F).
- Pay: $19/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, solder, and test a variety of relays and contactors according to JSTD-001 Military Spec. Soldering Procedures.
- Perform operational testing (operating times, voltages, dielectric, insulation resistance); check compliance with final test FTP specs.
- Accurately follow and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, test instructions, FTP/ATP reports, and written procedures.
- Use measurement instruments, hand tools, gauges, analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies for testing and diagnostics.
- Identify, repair, and reassemble faulty units; conduct retests as needed.
- Operate mass spectrometers and ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) equipment as required.
- Inspect products for correct color, shape, texture, and grade versus templates and standards.
- Support continuous improvement of testing methods; actively participate in team-based work and troubleshooting.
- Train new or less experienced team members as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Eligible to work under ITAR compliance.
- Ability to accurately read blueprints and wire schematics.
- Proficient in soldering, hand/power tool use, and measurement instruments.
- Certifications: ESD training per OP 1707, Solder Cert per OP 1701, Testing Cert per OP 1704, J-STD-001, IPC-620.
