Pay Rate: $28.62 per hour
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 6pm–6am (Initial training on 1st Shift for 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm, then transition to nights)

About the Role

Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ocala, FL. This role is vital in maintaining and repairing production equipment and machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong PLC troubleshooting and programming abilities, solid electrical and mechanical skills, and experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues on production equipment and machinery.

  • Follow established maintenance plans and schedules.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

  • Fabricate and weld components as needed.

  • Order and manage spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

  • Assist senior maintenance technicians as required.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with technical training/certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (property maintenance or auto mechanics experience will not be considered).

  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills; knowledge of welding, fabrication, and MRO.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 10–12 hours

  • Climb/descend stairs or ladders as needed

  • Perform repetitive movements, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Tolerate temperature extremes and varying noise levels

  • Handle raw materials and finished goods

  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:
Steel-toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and long-sleeved shirts/pants as necessary
