What’s a typical day as TS40 – Quality Control Inspector I? You’ll be:
- Inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Working with Quality Management to implement sampling plans and inspection procedures.
- Collecting and analyzing quality data to achieve organizational quality objectives.
- Reviewing and ensuring documentation meets quality standards.
- Conducting First Article, incoming component, and in-process inspections as per plans and specifications.
- Using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify product conformity.
- Auditing and monitoring quality requirements in accordance with company and customer specifications.
- Documenting and reporting inspection findings, and monitoring corrective actions.
- Promoting and following internal quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Continuously assessing opportunities for improvement within quality management systems.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO-certified environment (must have).
- Are proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs (must have).
- Have experience with Document Control software (preferred).
- Are familiar with SAP, ISO-9001, and quality systems such as DFx or FMEA (preferred).
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent (must have).
- Are detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Are committed to upholding high standards of quality and safety.
