As a Software Engineer II for the Agile Operating Model Tools, you will….

• Develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems for Internal agile metrics app (ReactJS; NodeJS; TypeScript)
  

• Design, architect, and build scalable cloud solutions to host virtual dev, qual, and prod application environments
  

• Supports advanced configuration, integrations, and operations of Agile SaaS tools: Jira (Backlog Management), Mural(Whiteboarding), TeamRetro (Retrospectives), and Quantive(OKRs).
  

• Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications.
  

• Analyzes assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives.
  

• Executes necessary documentation as needed.
  

• Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs.
  

• Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.
  

• Mentors junior software engineers within the team and across multiple products.
  

• Leads engineering practices alongside engineering manager.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

• Ability to advocate for Agile best practices including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, Clean Code practices, Scrum methodologies
  

• Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions. – Has an expert understanding of the principles, can apply the information to complex situations, solve complex problems, conduct research/break new ground, develop new applications, and provide expert support for other practitioners.
  

• Hands-on experience designing and developing in React – 4 years
  

• Hands-on experience designing and developing in JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.JS – 3 years
  

• Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting APIs – 3 years
  

• Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines – 2 years
  

• Product design, test and/or analysis experience. – 3 years
  

• Experience in Agile Development – 3 years

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Degree in a Software Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  

• Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
