Our Manufacturing Client in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Chemical Production Worker. If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply!  

Pay: $22/hr (direct hire eligibility at 90 days with pay increases and internal advancements)

Hours: 8-hour shifts (must be available to work all shifts/rotates between 1st, 2nd, & 3rd)

What’s a typical day as a Chemical Production Worker?

• Operates production equipment to assist with manufacturing, production, and packaging of a production line
  

• Monitors equipment for quality, defects, stalls, or jams
  

• Starts and stops production run
  

• Reactor operations
  

• Blending operations
  

• Truck and railcar loading/offloading
  

• Material transferring/handling operations
  

• Material staging operations
  

• Process monitoring operations
  

• Quality control operations

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
  

• 1+ years production operation experience
  

• Forklift experience
  

• Packaging experience
  

• Ability to lift 55# bags (up to 300 bags)
  while wearing a full face cartridge respirator
  

• Chemical manufacturing and/or laboratory experience
  

• Familiar with handling flammables, corrosives, oxidizers, etc.
  

• Blending experience
  

• Loading/unloading of tanker truck and/or rail cars (preferred)
