Position: HR Generalist
Location: Madera, CA
Schedule: Flexible – 8hr Shift | Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00/HR
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
The HR Generalist will support the HR Manager with labor and employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and more. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support different departments with their external talent pipeline, hiring needs, and overall workforce management
- Perform day-to-day HR activities: routine employee relations and discipline matters, performance management, employee engagement and more
- Complete routine HR activities for individual employees – answer compensation-related questions
- Assist in facilitating proper onboarding processes and presentations
- Ensure all HR records and postings meet all Federal, State, and local requirements
- Assist with training sessions for all employees
- Follow up with reports analyzing workforce metrics
- Able to perform other HR tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative experience
- Experience and knowledge with HR related tasks preferred
- Must have the ability to be flexible with your schedule when needed
- HRIS knowledge is preferred, specifically with Workday
- Knowledgeable with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must be comfortable speaking to large groups and present information.
