Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Medical Spanish/English Translator in Joliet, IL.

This is a contract/project opportunity, lasting approximate 3 months.

Pay: $25/hr.
Hours: Mon-Fri daytime hours

Job summary:

  • Provide oral communication with patrons – in field and in the office or clinic setting – from English questions to another language.

  • Capable of interpretation of English questions to another language response during the communication.

  • Capable of conveying elements of meaning and the intention and feelings of original speaker.

  • Orally translates education information from English to another language in group setting or individual setting.

  • Sight translation of documents from English to another language and another language to English for review.

  • Maintains activity logs of interpreting and translating activities to include field visits, mileage, and reimbursements.

  • Preserves the confidentiality of what is heard during the interviews and privileged communications.

  • Answer telephone and provide information or routes call to appropriate person.

Qualifications:
Must be able to speak Spanish and English
Must have medical terminology experience
