Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a Sales Account Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity in Dallas, TX.

SUMMARY: The Sales Account Manager is responsible for the development of the strategy, account project management and proactive problem solving to mitigate potential issues. The individual will be instrumental in supporting our most strategic accounts and will have national revenue and trade management responsibility. This role will partner with Sales Leadership on overall strategy and will work cross-functionally among all aspects of sales – including operations, trade marketing, finance, and education. Additional responsibilities include forecast analysis, promotional execution, effective communication of SOP’s, and strong category management analysis to further support and grow distribution optimization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on both the main contact as well as other related staff.
• Coordinate “site walkthroughs” during formal meetings with customers to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
• Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to present new product ideas with existing customers.
• Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
• Manage service delivery to specified scope of work.
• Maintain satisfactory Accounts Receivable levels.
• Manage sales forecast by customer and work on annual business plan.
• Continuously search for new potential customers for continuous revenue growth through personal network, referral, trade show etc..
• Clearly understand the NPD (New Product Development) process and resolve issues working with R&D, purchasing, quality and production.
• Clearly understand Profit and Loss and manufacturing cost structures and be able to offer most optimal quotes to customer, profitable to company while competitive to customer.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of dietary/nutritional industry in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
• Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
• Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.
• Must be willing to abide by Client policies and procedures, including those that are safety-related.
• Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious.
• Demonstrates a professional, team-first attitude toward work and co-workers.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking of English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Required).
• Minimum of five to ten (5-10) years or more of Account Management/Project Management experience (Required).
• Knowledge of foods and dietary/nutritional industry in a manufacturing environment (Required).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Able to tolerate working environment with inside hot and cold temperatures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Activities include ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more; the ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously during a shift; intense walking is involved. Dexterity for manipulating work materials; repetitive motion; proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to respond to safety signals, such as those generated by forklifts.
