Forklift Operator Details:

  • 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5 am to 3:30 pm or Monday-Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm (schedule depends on department)

  • 2nd Shift 3 pm to 1:30 am Monday-Thursday (OT required some Fridays)

  • $17 to $24 per hour based on experience

  • Temp-to-hire job opportunity

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Driver?

  •  Picking, labeling, scanning via RF Gun and palletizing outbound shipping orders using forklift

  • Load and unload trucks

  • Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

  • Prepare pallets according to prescribed work standards, stacking and tagging

  • Maintain shipping supplies to ensure orders ship on schedule

  • Receive and process warehouse stock

  • Maintain inventory control

  • Inform supervisor of inventory issues, supply shortages and shipping issues

  • Ensure loads are 100% accurate before departure from the warehouse

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure quality, quantity, and accuracy

You may be a good fit for this position, if:

  • You have 6 months of forklift operator experience.

  • You can lift up to 50lbs frequently, climb ladders, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have strong English and Math skills.

  • You can work overtime as needed.

  • You have new steel toed shoes or can get some before starting.

  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
