CNC Setup Operator
Location: Mentor, Ohio
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26-27 per hour
1st Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k & PTO
Kelly has partnered with a Family-owned business and seeking a skilled CNC Operator with setup experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining, CAD, and precision measuring instruments.
Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience setup and operating vertical machining centers and/or horizontal turning centers.
- HAAS/Fanuc control experience preferred
- CAD/CAM, Fusion 360 experience desirable
- Experience in thread cutting preferred
- 2 years CNC experience
- 1 year CNC setup experience
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, thread gages ring/plug, and pitch mics.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
- Experience with interpreting engineered drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC operations and maintenance.
