Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Charlestown, Indiana
Payrate: $17 Monday- Friday

Responsibilities:

• Conduct product inspections to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
  

• Report discrepancies and quarantine as necessary.
  

• Evaluate and inspect transactions which involve count discrepancies.
  

• Assist in sample creation and transfer to the test lab for product testing (if applicable).
  

• Suggest modifications to established procedures to improve production efficiency, improve quality, or reduce costs.
  

• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas.
  

• Assist with 100% screening projects.
  

• Collaborate with management on other duties as deemed necessary by the management staff.
  

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  

• Demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping.
  

• Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Word and Excel.
  

• Excellent basic functionality in Excel and Word.
  

• Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction..
  

• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred but not required.
