When you're considering a new role, compensation and responsibilities matter—but so does knowing you'll have the support you need to succeed.
At Kelly Pediatric Therapy, we've built our organization around a simple belief: when therapists feel supported, students and families benefit too.
That's why we invest in mentorship, clinical leadership, professional development, and resources that help providers grow throughout their careers. Whether you're entering the profession, transitioning into school-based therapy, or looking for your next opportunity, you'll find a team committed to helping you thrive.
Starting a new position can feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating a new district, team, or service model.
That's why every Kelly Pediatric Therapy provider is supported by a Clinical Director who understands the realities of pediatric therapy.
Our Clinical Directors are licensed or board-certified professionals with firsthand experience working in pediatric and school-based settings. They know the challenges you face because they've faced them too.
From your first day, your Clinical Director helps ensure you feel prepared and supported. They'll introduce you to the district, answer questions, help navigate challenges, and connect you with colleagues and resources that make your transition smoother.
As your career evolves, they'll continue to serve as a trusted resource and advocate, helping you grow your skills and confidence along the way.
Professional development shouldn't be something you have to figure out on your own.
Maintaining licensure and certifications requires continuing education, but finding high-quality, relevant training can be time-consuming and expensive.
Kelly Pediatric Therapy helps remove those barriers by providing free professional development opportunities designed specifically for pediatric and school-based clinicians.
Our board-approved continuing education courses cover topics therapists encounter every day, helping you strengthen your clinical skills while earning the credits you need to maintain your credentials.
In addition to CEUs, you'll gain access to practical resources, therapy tools, monthly collaborative meetings, and insights from experienced clinicians across our national provider network.
Because professional growth should feel empowering—not overwhelming.
Twice a year, we host a comprehensive, multi-session virtual training course to jumpstart a successful career in school-based therapy. Our School-based academy provides practical knowledge—whether you’re a brand-new practitioner, coming to schools from another clinical setting, or a returning therapist looking to refresh your skills.
The training is led by our Clinical Directors and includes discipline-specific breakout rooms with mentors who provide real-life examples and opportunities to share or ask questions.
Some of the topics include how to:
The School-Based Academy sessions are intensive and interactive. Sessions run for several hours on multiple days over the course of a couple weeks. They can fulfill continuing education requirements.
As we grow in our careers, we all have cases that challenge us in new ways. Our team continually creates resources, so you can learn about therapeutic interventions that are new or best practices we’ve tried with success.
These include online articles, one-sheets, or modules. We also host monthly meetings where we share real world examples of how we’re using or adapting strategies to our caseloads.
You’ll have free access to our suite of Tier 1 and Tier 2 classroom-level and small-group interventions. These interactive games, instructional aides, and curated therapy experiences are tools you can implement yourself or (with approval of your clinical director) share with parents, teachers, and paraeducators to support the progress you are making in sessions. Here are just a few examples:
Your clinical director may not be from the same therapy discipline as you. For example, if you are a physical therapist, your director may be an occupational therapist.
That’s why we provide you with the opportunity for one-on-one mentorship with a licensed clinician with our network in the state where you work. Your partnership with a mentor is a less structured experience, meant to support you as a resource to ask more informal questions or troubleshoot challenging cases. Most people lean on mentors more during the first few months of a new job.
Amanda Myers, a school-based occupational therapists in Pennsylvania, describes how working with Kelly Pediatric Therapy has supported her professional growth while allowing her to help others feel confident as mentor:
“Kelly Pediatric Therapy offers a strong connection and collaboration with mentors, directors, and fellow therapists.
In the last two years, have also become a mentor, so I connect with therapists — whether they’re new grads, new to the company, or just new to school-based therapy in general — just to support them and answer questions.”
Again, at Kelly Pediatric Therapy, we value your work-life balance. We’re dedicated to provider retention and satisfaction. Some of our providers work under a 1099 contractor agreement while others are employed through a W-2 model.
Our compensation package includes benefits and perks to ensure that you can focus on doing impactful work. You’ll enjoy:
*For 1099 ICs, these are offered and administered by a third-party vendor. We don’t sponsor these plans.
At Kelly Pediatric Therapy, you'll find more than a job placement—you'll find a team invested in your success. With mentorship, professional development, clinical support, and meaningful opportunities to serve students, you can build a career that is both professionally rewarding and personally sustainable. Join a community that values your expertise, supports your growth, and helps you make a lasting impact every day.
