Kelly Services is hiring a Machine Assembler in Farmington!
If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work and assembling complex systems with precision, this role puts your skills to work in a clean, organized, high-tech manufacturing environment. You’ll build machine components, interpret technical drawings, and support production workflows that power advanced industrial equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform complex mechanical assemblies with precision
- Use inch/metric measuring tools to verify fit and tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, part lists, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
- Troubleshoot assembly and fitment issues as needed
- Recommend improvements to workflow and safety processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in team meetings and follow related action items
- Support SYNCHRO and Continuous Improvement (CIP) initiatives
- Work overtime as required to support production demand
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ years in machine tool assembly OR
1+ years in machine tool manufacturing, maintenance, or service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motion tasks
- Familiarity with assembly documentation and part lists
- Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics
- Skilled with accurate measurement instruments
- Nice-to-haves: electrical wiring, basic computer skills, forklift certification
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time
- $23.00-25.00/hr | Weekly Pay
- Overtime available
- Long-term temp with potential for full-time placement
