We’re seeking a Customer Advocate ll Associate with Entry-Level Credentialing with five years experience in healthcare to work in an opportunity with a top client in Richardson, TX .We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters in your life.

  • Pay rate is $20/hour

  • Temp to hire potential

  • Shift Information: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm however the 8 hour shift can vary between 7am – 6pm after training

  • Possibility of working Hybrid (2 weeks from home and 1 week from office rotation) if you have your own equipment at home, otherwise, will need to work fully onsite.

  • Paid training is onsite and a minimum of up to  16  weeks 

Overview:
This position starts fully onsite with approximately 16-20  weeks of structured training. After training, you will have the option to work on a flexible 8 hour schedule and offer the hybrid opportunity noted above. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review applications for completeness.

  • Access and maintain data in a computer database.

  • Audit providers credentials and licenses, ensuring they are legally authorized for their roles.

  • Prepare and maintain reports related to credentialing activities such as accreditation, membership, and facility privileges.

  • Monitor renewal dates and guide staff on the steps needed to maintain their credentials.

  • Utilize multiple software applications simultaneously.

  • Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other computer software.

What This Position is NOT:

  • A data entry role.

  • A customer service position (no phone calls from members).

Job Specific Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor s degree or 3 years provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing experience in a health care or health insurance environment.

  • Experience in provider outreach, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions. Data entry and/or typing experience.

  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational and independent decision making skills.

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft suite

  • Detail oriented

  • PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree 5 years provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing experience.

  • 6 months data entry experience in an office environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

  • Ability to sit for long periods.
