Kelly® is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the preventative maintenance and repair of our facility, equipment, and production machinery. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams, external contractors, and equipment suppliers to reduce machine downtime, improve cycle times, and ensure a safe, reliable working environment.
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $30-32/hr plus shift differential
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 4pm-2:30am (Mon-Thursday)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance and unplanned repairs on facility and production equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose issues.
- Install new or replacement parts, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely.
- Make recommendations to reduce machine downtime and optimize cycle times.
- Escalate unresolved breakdowns to appropriate managers.
- Research solutions and estimate costs/timelines for repairs and improvements.
- Arrange procurement of necessary tools, equipment, parts, and components.
- Collaborate with Engineering, contractors, and vendors for maintenance efforts.
- Assist with installation of new equipment as needed.
- Create and maintain preventative maintenance procedures via CMMS.
- Communicate effectively with all departments, attend onsite meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, including PPE and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by Maintenance or Operations Managers.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- High mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting/repairing a broad range of systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to cover multiple shifts per business needs.
