Now Hiring: Receiving Clerk / Material Handler
 Location: Farmington, CT
 Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Receiving Clerk / Material Handler to join our logistics team in Farmington, CT. This hands-on position plays a vital role in supporting both the Receiving Department and overall material handling operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, moving materials between facilities, pulling and delivering parts to production, and ensuring inventory accuracy using SAP. This role is essential to keeping our supply chain and production lines running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- 
	
Safely load, unload, and transport materials between facilities. 
 
- 
	
Support all receiving operations, including unloading trucks and containers. 
 
- 
	
Process inbound shipments and perform goods receipts in SAP. 
 
- 
	
Use barcode scanners or PC systems to maintain inventory records. 
 
- 
	
Pull and deliver materials to production using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts. 
 
- 
	
Accurately issue materials to production orders and make stock adjustments. 
 
- 
	
Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards. 
 
- 
	
Work independently to identify and resolve issues that may impact material flow. 
Requirements
- 
	
Valid Connecticut Driver’s License required. 
 
- 
	
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 
 
- 
	
Strong organizational and communication skills. 
 
- 
	
Experience with computerized shipping/receiving systems preferred. 
 
- 
	
Experience operating a 20,000 lb. truck is a plus. 
 
- 
	
High school diploma or equivalent required.
