CNC Programmer – Lebanon, OH
Join a growing, high-precision manufacturer in Lebanon, OH! We’re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for full-time, direct hire role in a non-production, engineer-to-order environment. Enjoy competitive pay, stability, and excellent benefits while working on custom, precision projects.
Shift Options:
- Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (can be flexible starting as early as 4:30am and as late as 8am)
Pay Range:
- $32 – $40/hr (based on experience)
Role Summary
The CNC Programmer is responsible for generating machine code to control CNC machines, ensuring precise machining operations according to engineering drawings and quality requirements. This role requires experience with MasterCAM software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with machine operators and engineers.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Use MasterCAM and other software to model cutting paths and program machines
- Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine machining dimensions, tool selection, and cutting parameters
- Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, curvatures, and sequence of operations to machine parts
- Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide machine setup and operation
- Adjust machine cutting paths and settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
- Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths
- Interface with machine operators as needed to ensure optimum programming
- Identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with MasterCAM software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled at troubleshooting mechanical or logistical issues
- Ability to work independently and follow directions closely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
