Job Summary

The bookkeeper manages financial activities at the school, reflecting its mission and providing accurate, confidential support to administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in business/accounting (required)

  • CPA license (active/inactive)

  • Notary public commission or willingness to obtain

  • Familiarity with nonprofit finance and office procedures

  • Basic computer skills (accounting software, spreadsheets, email)

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills

  • Professional, confidential, and Christ-like conduct

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records

  • Oversee billing, collections, banking, and payroll

  • Advise on budgets, spending, and financial trends

  • Negotiate contracts, leases, insurance, and vendor relationships

  • Supervise records for extracurricular activities and donations

  • Prepare financial reports; attend finance meetings

  • Collaborate on personnel and compliance matters.
