Kelly Services is currently accepting candidates with Project Management experience to work at a Textile Distributor in Tampa 33610.

Project Manager and Sales Support Responsibilities Include: 

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager Professional to oversee projects from an informed client inquiry/RFP phase to final delivery and supporting our sales efforts. They are growing our sales of textiles in the corporate office, cruise line, education, government, healthcare and high-end hospitality sectors with a focus on interior architects and designers specifying seating materials for various applications. Within this scope there are several details that require careful attention. The ideal candidate will act as a central hub directing communication among various departments of estimating, purchasing and shipping and supporting our sales effort by organizing memo samples and other sales support literature. Specific knowledge of the textile or furniture industry is a plus, but not required. What is required is the ability to learn well and respond adeptly to our clients. Excellent organizational, attention to detail and time management skills will allow the candidate to succeed.

The right candidate will:
• Manage most aspects of providing textiles for furniture buildouts from client inquiry/bid acceptance level to execution or delivery of final project – projects can be small or large
• Oversee submittals to clients of all samples for approval
• Create bi-weekly client status reports and conduct weekly informal meetings
• Organize the memo samples and other key sales literature to support our client relations; Social media expertise a plus, but not required
• Produce a well-organized schedule to ensure project milestones are met, including using such tools as white boards to assist with task lists
• Communicate regularly with clients to develop and fulfill expectations of the job • Organize all Project related documents including proposals, estimates, change orders, drawings or layouts where applicable, and shipping and delivery receipts • Oversee and coordinate with purchasing the timely ordering and receipt of all materials required to produce the job
• Evaluate the progress of the job and overall success of delivering the correct product in the most efficient way
• Familiarize her or himself with relevant textile product specifications, FR and MR codes. 

Job Requirements:
• Proven experience as a detail-oriented project manager
• In-depth understanding of interaction of purchasing, receiving from multiple vendors, scheduling and conveying lead times and project management principles
• Collaborate with architects, designers, furniture dealers to determine the specifications requirements of the project
• Familiarity with following up on various aspects of a project without being asked, reminded
• Intermediate to Advance Skills and Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power Point • Openness to learn new software programs related to sales and project management
• Outstanding communication, organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• PMP or equivalent certification or willingness to become PMP certified and willingness to obtain certain other textile/furniture industry certifications or memberships.
