Maintenance Technician | Houston, TX
Contract-To-Hire | $30-40/HR
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Repair and maintain the operating condition of CNC machines
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts or make repairs
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs
- Clean, lubricate or adjust parts, equipment and machinery
- Exam parts for defects
- Operate newly repaired machinery to verify the adequacy of repairs
- Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems
- Record parts or materials used and order new parts or materials as necessary
- All other duties as assigned
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have knowledge of machines and tools including their design, usage and repair
- Knowledge of electronics including circuit boards, chips and other electronic equipment
- Must be able to determine type of repairs and maintenance required and perform the repairs and maintenance
