What a typical day as an Administrative Assistant II might look like:
l Provides general administrative support to the organization.
l May provide back-up support to higher-level management as needed.
l Maintains and manages calendars, including scheduling meetings and proactively identifying and
l resolving scheduling conflicts.
l Coordinates domestic and international travel arrangements and processing of corresponding
l expense reports.
l Uses intermediate to advanced software skills to perform assigned work. Uses and understands
l Microsoft Office Suite and other business-specific software, including Corporate Travel website and
l other programs.
l Coordinates new employee on-boarding.
l Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
l Follows purchasing and requisition procedures, Corporate Security and Privacy Rules, Corporate
l Branding Guidelines, and Copy Center procedures (if applicable).
l Coordinates and maintains departmental files, as assigned, in compliance with corporate and
l government regulations.
l Duties may include word processing, editing existing documents, keying information into existing templates, database upkeep.
l Previous clerical experience is necessary.
l Moderate to minimal supervision is provided.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
l High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
l 1+ years previous admin experience or equivalent.
l Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, and understanding of business processes and requirements.
l Self-starter able to function at a high level with general instruction and supervision.
l Builds strong relationships with peers and cross-functionally.
l Team-oriented, can-do attitude and desire to be productive contributor to overall organization.
l Learns quickly and can change course quickly when needed.
l Experience Level = 3-5 Years
l Requires proficiency in two to three vendor software programs.
l Provides support to one or two department managers and their staffs.
