Full-time, consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, hybrid onsite 3 days per week (usually Tuesday–Thursday)

7-week contract (Nov 10 – Dec 28, 2025) with possible extension

Collaborative role supporting cash application, account reconciliation, and A/R management
What’s a typical day as a Cash Application Specialist? You’ll be:
-
Processing and applying daily cash receipts, including credit card payments, EFTs, and adjustments to customer accounts
-
Identifying unapplied amounts and posting to customer accounts, while providing backup support to A/R
-
Maintaining records for auditing purposes, including filing remittances, bank statements, and approved write-offs
-
Receiving and recording US trade, export, and intercompany payments from lockbox, wire transfers, EFTs, and credit cards
-
Supporting center management and A/R Manager with issues related to cash receipts, applications, collections, or bankruptcies
-
Interacting with Collections Specialists and Deductions Specialists

Importing and balancing daily sales batches and encoding checks accurately
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written

High level of confidentiality and integrity

Ability to quickly grasp and retain information and concepts

Ability to multitask and prioritize issues

Experience in a customer service or insurance-related role/process
Preferred qualifications:

Self-starter with a sense of urgency, works well under pressure

Knowledge of vision and/or insurance benefits
-
Understanding of third-party benefits and administration
-
Knowledgeable in continuous improvement methods

Experience working in SAP
