Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Lima, NY
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Experience & Education Requirements
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, quality-driven professional to join our manufacturing team in Lima, NY. If you have a strong background in production environments and a passion for continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to make an impact!
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (verification required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to identify and develop process improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems (QAD a plus)
- Strong data collection, analysis, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will help maintain and improve the integrity of our products and processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing QA policies and procedures
- Conduct routine product inspections and quality tests
- Identify and resolve workflow or production issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate findings and corrective actions to leadership
- Maintain documentation and create audit reports
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Regular exposure to high noise levels, moving machinery, and dusty conditions
- Must be able to spend up to 90% of the day on the production floor
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required
