Why you should apply to be a Material Handler:

  •  Location: Lebanon, TN


  • Pay Rate: $18.42/hour


  • Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM


  • Employment: Temp-to-Perm (6 months initial contract)


  • Work Setup: Onsite

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You will:

  • Move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists to support daily production operations.


  • Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure materials are correctly distributed to workstations.


  • Build packaging systems and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit.


  • Transfer, sort, and label materials according to specifications and maintain accurate inventory records.


  • Perform equipment checks, minor repairs, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.


  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements to ensure a safe and productive environment.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).


  • Technical experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or scissor lifts.


  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.


  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints or production schedules.


  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to teamwork and reliability.
