If you’re looking for a permanent Heavy Equipment Mechanic role, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a client in the construction industry, is looking for an Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Ballston Spa, NY!
This is a direct hire Heavy Equipment Mechanic position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
• Conduct daily inspections and basic upkeep of heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, skid steers, and wheel loaders to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine systems and quickly address any electrical, hydraulic, engine, or powertrain issues encountered during operation.
• Utilize onboard monitoring systems and diagnostic technology to identify and resolve technical equipment problems.
• Assist with minor repairs and participate in basic welding, fabrication, and disassembly tasks when necessary.
• Accurately log equipment usage, maintenance activities, and incident reports in digital formats as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to safety protocols, use appropriate PPE, and communicate any hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Required Experience:
• 2+ years of proven hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment
• Demonstrates strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with exceptional organization and attention to detail, consistently producing high-quality work.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a professional, respectful attitude toward coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
• Valid CDL-B license with active DOT Medical card required
