Electronics Material Handler I –
Job Classification Assembler Position/Title
Assembler Reports to Area Foreman
Job Duties/Responsibilities
1. To assemble products according to specifications documentation, prints, bills of material, etc.
2. To examine parts being used on assemblies and reject if unacceptable.
3. To in process test machines as they are built and make sure they pass quality criteria established by the Q.C. Department.
4. Assist Line Foreman as needed.
5. Fill out material move tickets, inspection data, in-process tags, reject tags, rework orders, Corrective Action Reports as needed.
6. Train on how to use the computer system to print material move tickets as needed.
7. Follow all rules, policies and safety procedures as established by the company.
The handle department reports to the Plastic Production Director. The tank department, air vac and sub assembly areas report to the plant manager. Experience, Education and Skills Needed
1. Mechanically inclined; must be able to use a variety of hand, air and power tools.
2. Ability to read/write/understand English.
3. Detail oriented
4. Willingness to learn new skills
5. Excellent work habits.
6. Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
