Receptionist
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 830am-5pm (30 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $20/hour to start
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage visitor access using an electronic badging system.
- Provide general administrative support, including light data entry, routing mail/packages, and maintaining a tidy front desk.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down conference rooms for meetings or events, including chairs, tables, and A/V equipment.
- Schedule and send meeting invitations using Outlook.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic administrative tasks e.g., tracking attendance, maintaining simple records.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office coordination role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
