Location: Bessemer City, NC
Pay: $30/hour – Negotiable for the right person/experience
Schedule: Full-time | Permanent | Great Benefits

Training: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1–3 months)

Regular Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Position Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production lines running at their best. You’ll work on all kinds of equipment — mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic — and help keep the plant in top shape.
You’ll train on 1st shift for the first few months to learn the equipment and team, then move to your regular 2nd shift schedule.
What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment

Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and record work in the CMMS system

Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Fabricate or modify parts and equipment as needed
-
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
-
Use safe work practices every day — Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, PPE, etc.

Help with root cause analysis and improvements to prevent repeat breakdowns

Support a clean, organized, and efficient maintenance shop (5S standards)
What We’re Looking For
-
High school diploma or GED
-
2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
-
Solid skills in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
-
Able to weld, use hand and power tools, and read blueprints
-
Comfortable with computers and basic data entry
-
Team player with a strong safety mindset
-
Willing to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
Bonus Points For

Technical school or trade program background

Experience with predictive maintenance tools (thermal imaging, vibration analysis, ultrasound)

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (PLC knowledge a plus)
