Direct Hire | Full-time | 2nd shift 
 
Kelly Engineering is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team.
 
Targeted pay rate: $25/hr with shift premium
 
Duties / Responsibilities
- Plan and perform detailed analyses, inspections, tests, and integrations to ensure the highest product and component quality
 
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to evaluate production processes and drive effective improvements
 
- Accurately document quality data in accordance with company policies and procedures
 
- Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance quality assurance outcomes
 
- Communicate significant quality issues, trends, and improvement opportunities to relevant stakeholders
 
- Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven technical reports and program updates
 
- Track, analyze, and reduce scrap rates through targeted process improvement initiatives
 
Desired skills and experience
- Associate degree or completion of a 2-year technical program
 
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ISO 9001–certified manufacturing environment
 
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of basic statistical methods and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
 
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 environments
 
- Proficiency working within an ERP system
 
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs
 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating integrity and professionalism
 
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
 
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
