About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our 3rd shift operations at our Kent, WA manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring reliable plant operations, and helping keep our systems running at peak efficiency.
This is a 3-month contract position offering $34 per hour with opportunities to work on advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on plant facility systems to minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment including Allen Bradley PLCs, frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo motors, NH3 refrigeration, boiler systems, and HVAC systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance on production machinery.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Coordinate repair work with vendors and other maintenance staff as needed.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure a clean, organized work area.

Work independently while following company safety and operational standards.

Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or two-year technical degree in a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.

Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Experience in food manufacturing or sanitary design preferred.

Familiarity with Six Sigma or 5S methodologies a plus.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

Journeyman card preferred (positions available at Tradesman, Journeyman, or Craftsman level).

Willingness to work alternative shifts or overtime as needed.
