About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Filing Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will process and prepare legal documents for filing with various Secretaries of State, including the District of Columbia. This position involves a combination of administrative support, document management, and data entry — ensuring filings are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $23/hour | Contract Duration: Through March 2026 | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process legal filings with multiple Secretaries of State offices, including DC.

Handle authentications and Service of Process (SOP) filings.

Accurately input and maintain filing data within internal systems.

Submit filings both in person (over-the-counter) and online as required.

Review documents for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.

Maintain organized digital and physical records of filings and confirmations.

Communicate with internal teams to track filing statuses and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience in administrative, clerical, or legal support roles a plus.

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
