About the Role
We are seeking a Sanitizer to join our team on 2nd Shift. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe production environment by performing detailed cleaning and sanitizing of processing and production equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Schedule
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Shift Differentials:

2nd Shift: +$1.50/hour
-
3rd Shift: +$2.00/hour
-
Weekend Days: +$2.00/hour
-
Weekend Nights: +$2.50/hour
Schedule:
-
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET
This position may occasionally require off-shift, weekend, or holiday coverage based on business needs.
Benefits (Upon Conversion – 520 hours):

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily environmental cleaning and sanitization of production and process equipment.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists to maintain compliance with sanitation standards.

Investigate and respond to out-of-trend cleaning data and assist with root cause analysis.

Prepare and document cleaning solutions; safely handle and move equipment and chemicals as needed.

Verify sanitation solution concentrations and effectiveness.

Follow all chemical handling and safety procedures.

Cross-train on various production machinery and systems.

Operate and navigate computer systems and sanitation-related applications.

Assist operators with cleaning and maintenance tasks such as clean-in-place (CIP), dry and wet cleans, equipment assembly/disassembly, silo switches, and start-up/shut-down operations.

Operate a vacuum sealing machine and process rework materials in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Skills: Ability to read, write, and follow detailed written instructions.

Must be dependable, safety-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
-
Regular bending, stooping, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
-
Standing and walking for up to 10+ hours per shift.
-
Exposure to noise, warm temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and industrial equipment.

Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and staging as required.
