Pay: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Wallingford, CT. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and organize inventory. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and related equipment to move and store materials.

Unload and inspect incoming materials, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Stock, organize, and label materials in designated warehouse locations.

Pull, stage, and assemble customer orders for delivery or shipment.

Prepare shipping documentation for UPS, LTL, and other carriers.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Follow all safety policies and immediately report hazards or incidents.

Perform additional warehouse duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.

Current forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Basic computer, math, and reading skills.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
