Location: Farmington, CT
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Material Handler to support internal logistics operations within a leading manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for handling material flow between buildings and partner sites, supporting receiving activities, and ensuring accurate inventory management. The role involves unloading, stock transactions, and material movement to production areas, playing a critical part in maintaining smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely
- Process goods receipts and stock transactions in SAP using PC or barcode scanners
- Pull, issue, and deliver materials to production and assembly areas
- Maintain accurate stock counts and documentation of all material movements
- Support receiving and inventory functions including unpacking, labeling, and shelving
- Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization standards
- Identify and resolve material flow or scheduling issues with minimal supervision
- Follow safety protocols and ensure timely delivery of materials to designated areas
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Previous experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or logistics preferred
- Proficiency with SAP or similar inventory systems a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
