What’s a typical day as an Advanced Composite Technician I? You’ll be:

  • Manufacturing composite aircraft parts to meet production specifications


  • Performing functions such as lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and repair


  • Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations


  • Checking all work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection


  • Maintaining logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, etc.)


  • Supporting Lean and 5S initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and FOD programs


  • Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • At least 1 year of composite experience


  • Basic computer skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints


  • Experience working with composite resins and materials


  • Ability to read and interpret a 6” scale


  • Valid driver’s license


  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position and work any shift


  • Strong communication skills in English (read, write, and speak clearly)

  • Employment Type: 48-month contract


  • Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift – 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM


  • Pay Rate: $21.21/hour


  • Must be 18+ years old and able to meet standard employment screenings
