What a typical day as an Manufacturing Operator might look like:
l Responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to the set-up of equipment, the performance of manufacturing steps according to formula and the disassembly and cleaning of equipment.
l The employee shall also demonstrate the ability to understand and execute manufacturing directions presented in Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records in compliance with a GMP environment.
l Assists in the training of other Operators and possesses the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process related problems.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
l High School Diploma or equivalent
l 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment.
l Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.
l This person must have Tablet Compression Experience.
l Understands the logical sequence of events and processes and its impact on products
l Computer systems and SAP knowledge must be able to process electronic batch records and all associated transactions in SAP
l Successfully trains other Operators on equipment and processes. Assure that the team members have the necessary training to effectively participate on the team
l Ability to lead the team to achieve production goals. Recognizes and celebrates team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance
l Embrace the OPEX culture of continuous improvement by proactively providing suggestions and solutions.
l Must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds assisted.
l Employee must be able to sit/stand regularly for long periods of time.
l The position will be required to wear respirator in some processes.
l Other requirements include stooping and reaching to perform various job tasks and movement of skids using a pallet jack applying 30-75 lbs of force.
l Employee will frequently climb step ladders/platforms.
