Production Associate – Seasonal Printing Production (A Shift)

Location: Rochester, NY (Gates area – limited bus line access)
Shift:
- A Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Must be flexible for mandatory overtime during peak season — may include arriving early, staying late, or working occasional extra day!
Pay: $17.00/hour | Paid Weekly
Duration: Seasonal through late December (potential to extend or hire on based on performance and business needs)
About the Role:
We’re hiring motivated  Production Associates to support a busy printing production team during the peak holiday season. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with prior production, manufacturing, or high-volume experience who wants steady work and extra income during the holidays.
You’ll help assemble, finish, and prepare printed book orders for shipment, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of each order.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collation: Assemble book components in correct order and verify materials match the product/version.
 
- Labeling: Apply labels to books, packaging, or boxes; ensure correct placement and legibility.
 
- Leafing / Decorative Finishing: Assist with foil or decorative finishes; load/unload materials and inspect for alignment, shine, and quality.
 
- Quality Control: Inspect finished books for page order, trimming, and overall quality; report issues to leads or supervisors.
 
- Binning / Order Sorting: Organize completed orders by job number or customer name; stage bins for shipping or further processing.
 
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in high-volume production, manufacturing, or printing operations preferred
 
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals
 
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn multiple production tasks
 
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the shift
 
- Reliable transportation (location has limited bus access)
