Quality Control (QC) Associate – Seasonal Printing Production (B Shift)

Location: Rochester, NY (Gates area – limited bus line access)
Shift:
- B Shift | Sunday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Must be flexible for mandatory overtime during peak season — may include arriving early, staying late, or working occasional extra day!
Pay: $17.50/hour | Paid Weekly
Duration: Seasonal through late December (potential to extend or hire on based on performance and business needs)
We’re hiring Quality Control (QC) Associates to join a busy printing production team during the peak holiday season. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with experience in manufacturing, production, or inspection who takes pride in accuracy and quality.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring products coming off production machines meet strict standards for accuracy, alignment, and visual quality before they are packaged and shipped.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Inspect printed products coming off machines for accuracy, alignment, trimming, and overall quality
 
- Verify that each product matches job specifications and customer requirements
 
- Report any issues such as misprints, misaligned pages, color inconsistencies, or damage to leads or supervisors
 
- Assist with labeling, binning, and organizing products as needed
 
- Maintain clean, organized QC workstations and follow all safety procedures
 
- Communicate with production leads to support daily output goals
What You Bring:
- Prior experience in quality control, manufacturing inspection, or printing production preferred
 
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
 
- Reliable attendance and willingness to support multiple production areas
 
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
 
- Reliable transportation (limited bus access)
