Job details
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Possible OT on Friday
Location: Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $22/hr

Essential Job Duties
-
Review and process daily releases for multiple customers.

Prepare and organize paperwork for daily shipments.

Schedule freight pick-ups with carriers.

Complete and process all required shipping forms.

Generate and apply shipping labels.

Handle both domestic and international shipments, including ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) submission for each shipment.

Check drivers in and out upon arrival/departure.

Perform general office duties, including:

Data entry

Clerical tasks such as filing, organizing, and maintaining shipping records.
Requirements
-
Microsoft Excel proficiency (mandatory) — ability to perform spreadsheet data entry, retrieve and track shipment data, and ensure accuracy in shipment processing and invoicing.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation and data handling.

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

General computer literacy and comfort with office systems.

Automotive industry experience required.
