About the Role
We’re seeking a Corrugated Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and facilities within our corrugated converting facility. This role ensures our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on facility machinery and equipment.
Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems to enhance performance and safety.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out requirements.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and outside contractors as needed.
Cleaning & Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills: Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills (training provided).
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Safety Knowledge: Understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices.
Communication: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy materials as required.
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or corrugated facility preferred.
Training: In-house or external training opportunities available to develop equipment-specific maintenance skills.
