Job Title: Beer Quality Control Logistics Specialist
Location: Savannah, GA
Department: Logistics
Reports To: Logistics Area Manager
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM start
Job Summary:
As a Beer Quality Control Specialist, you’ll be responsible for inspecting beer pallets for accuracy, correcting any errors, and documenting discrepancies for accountability. This role suits someone who is assertive in identifying problems and proactive in addressing issues. You’ll also contribute to safety, sanitation, inventory control, and logistics operations, ensuring a secure and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Check beer pallets for inaccuracies and make corrections
 - Ensure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable
 - Maintain records to monitor picker accuracy and track in-house errors
 - Submit daily power equipment checklists to management
 - Report safety or mechanical issues in writing
 - Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
 - Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility
 - Support logistical security and perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older
 - Six months’ experience in a similar role preferred
 - Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other power equipment preferred
 - Strong attention to detail and assertiveness
 - Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
 - Comfortable learning and using technology and company systems
 - Inventory and quality control experience
 - Working knowledge of computerized hand-held devices
 
Working Conditions:
- Ability to consistently meet high standards in a busy, non-temperature controlled environment—may include exposure to heat, humidity, and changing weather
 - Occasional work in refrigerated areas
 - Moderate to loud noise levels, with some dust and equipment fumes
 
Physical Requirements:
- Reliable, regular attendance is essential
 - Frequent operation of pallet jacks and/or forklifts
 - Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and carry throughout your shift
 - Able to stack, unstack, and move large quantities of product
 - Capable of lifting 50-65 lbs, including overhead lifting
 - Specific vision requirements (close and distance vision, judging distances)
