We’re looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Program Coordinator to support a leading university’s fundraising and donor relations initiatives. This role focuses on gift entry, donor data management, and reporting — critical functions in supporting the success of major fundraising campaigns.

If you have 3+ years of nonprofit or donor data processing experience and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment (4 days onsite), we’d love to review your background.

Assistant Program Coordinator

Location: Boston, MA 02215
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 4 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $30.24/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and enter charitable gifts and donor commitments accurately and promptly.


  • Maintain and update donor records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards.


  • Generate daily donation reports and assist with matching gifts and credit card transactions.


  • Record and organize donor information and gift documentation for accessibility and audit purposes.


  • Collaborate with fundraising and finance teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting and processing.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.


  • 3–5 years of nonprofit gift entry or donor data processing experience.


  • Experience in daily donation processing, transaction reporting, and database management.


  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.


  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.


  • Ability to work December 26–31 during the holiday period.
