Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $32–$40+ per hour (based on experience)
Bonus: $1,000 Tool Reimbursement Program
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 2-2-3 rotation (every other weekend off)
About the Role
Join a leading beverage manufacturing team as a Maintenance Mechanic on the night shift. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-speed production and utility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, conveyors, pumps, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (including 480V/3-phase).
- Conduct machine changeovers and adjustments for fillers, packers, and seamers.
- Fabricate, weld, and repair metal parts and piping systems (PVC, copper, stainless, steel).
- Follow all LOTO and safety procedures; maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Collaborate with engineers and OEMs to improve reliability and production uptime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (beverage, food, or packaging a plus).
- Proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Skilled with diagnostic tools, blueprint reading, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to work the 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (2-2-3) schedule, including weekends and holidays.
