Part-Time Lab Tech – Kickstart Your Science Career!

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for science and a desire to gain hands-on lab experience? Join our innovative Food & Beverage Manufacturing Company in East Hanover, NJ, as a Part-Time Lab Contractor and become a vital part of our Research & Development team!
This 12+ month, on-site opportunity (Tuesday – Thursday, 8AM – 3:30PM) is perfect for someone looking to build their lab skills and contribute to the development of exciting new products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Cutting-Edge R&D: Assist our R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams with crucial lab tasks.

  • Sample Shipping & Receiving: Pack domestic shipments, generate UPS waybills, unpack incoming shipments, and notify developers – keeping our research flowing smoothly.

  • Lab Inventory Management: Manage lab and sample inventory, ensuring organization and efficiency.

  • Hands-On Assistance: Set up and clean up product reviews, assist with benchtop prototyping, and contribute to sample analysis.

  • Maintain a Safe & Organized Lab: Uphold safety compliance and contribute to general lab upkeep.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential!

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

  • A sharp eye for detail and accuracy.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, data entry).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lift and move packages.
