Shipping & Receiving Team Member – FedEx Software Experience Preferred ($19/hr+), Full-Time, Pooler, GA

Description:
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Team Member with previous FedEx shipping experience (including use of FedEx software, known as “Café”) to join our on-site supply chain team in Pooler, GA. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting a well-organized factory environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Load, unload, sort, and organize incoming freight to ensure accurate handling and proper storage.
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments using company and carrier standards (FedEx software experience strongly preferred).
- Coordinate with carriers and shipping companies for timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and databases.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Oversee organization and upkeep of yard and factory to ensure a clean, safe workspace.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or shipping issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations experience preferred.
- Proven experience using FedEx shipping software (“Café”) strongly desired.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience (indoor and outdoor; propane preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Safety steel/composite toed shoes required.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
