Shipping & Receiving Team Member – FedEx Software Experience Preferred ($19/hr+), Full-Time, Pooler, GA

Description:
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Team Member with previous FedEx shipping experience (including use of FedEx software, known as “Café”) to join our on-site supply chain team in Pooler, GA. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting a well-organized factory environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.

  • Load, unload, sort, and organize incoming freight to ensure accurate handling and proper storage.

  • Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments using company and carrier standards (FedEx software experience strongly preferred).

  • Coordinate with carriers and shipping companies for timely deliveries and pickups.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and databases.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

  • Oversee organization and upkeep of yard and factory to ensure a clean, safe workspace.

  • Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or shipping issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations experience preferred.

  • Proven experience using FedEx shipping software (“Café”) strongly desired.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.

  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.

  • Forklift experience (indoor and outdoor; propane preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Safety steel/composite toed shoes required.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
