Job Posting: Inbound Forklift & Reach Truck Operator – Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch; some overtime may be required)
(Pay rate increases by $1 after 90 days and upon direct hire)


Position Summary

The Inbound Forklift & Reach Truck Operator plays a critical role in efficiently managing the flow of materials into our warehouse. This position requires skilled operation of stand-up reach forklifts and reach trucks to unload, move, and store inbound shipments. You’ll ensure that products are safely and accurately put away into racking, and support overall warehouse organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely unload inbound materials and merchandise from delivery vehicles using stand-up reach forklift and reach truck equipment

  • Place, transport, and stack pallets and boxes in designated warehouse locations

  • Store products securely in warehouse racking

  • Move wooden pallets and organize incoming goods for storage

  • Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality issues for inbound inventory

  • Maintain detailed records of inbound inventory movements and activity logs

  • Use RF scanning equipment to track and record inbound shipments

  • Assist with packaging and general warehouse duties as needed

  • Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and legal guidelines

  • Help maintain an orderly, safe, and clean warehouse environment

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience operating stand-up reach forklifts and reach trucks, especially in inbound warehouse environments

  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial warehouse equipment

  • Excellent physical condition and coordination; able to handle repetitive lifting and movement

  • Valid forklift operator certification required

  • High school diploma required

Work Environment:
The warehouse is not temperature controlled, but features large doors for airflow. Attire includes tennis shoes with covered ankles; most staff wear jeans and standard warehouse clothing.
